The crest is hand-carved with an openwork foliate and scroll design – a lovely example of traditional cabinetmaking. The serpentine-fronted base houses a single drawer with a small brass pull, ideal for jewellery or small keepsakes.
The mirror tilts on its wooden thumbscrews so you can set it to the perfect angle, making it as practical as it is decorative. A charming piece for a dressing table, console, chest of drawers or bedroom, bringing genuine period character to the room.
